The Promoter has appointed Quantum Marketing (Europe) Limited (company number 08649805) with registered office at 7 & 8 Church Street, Wimborne, Dorset BH21 1JH (Agency) to administer this promotion on its behalf and to arrange and fulfil the prizes available to be won as part of this promotion.

 

The Promoter’s Instagram account is managed and administered by Fold 7 Limited (company number 04001759) with registered office at 16-18 Kirby Street, London EC1N 8TS with community management services provided by Twelve AM Media Limited (company number 10350204) with registered office at Elsley Court, 20-22 Great Titchfield Street, London W1W 8BE (each a Social Agency).

 

How will your personal data be used?

 

  1. The personal data that you provide in connection with this promotion will be used for the purposes of administering the promotion, verifying eligibility of entrants, selecting and contacting the winners and fulfilling the prizes in accordance with the terms and conditions of this promotion below (Terms and Conditions).

 

  1. Entries to this promotion will be monitored and collated by the Social Agencies, who will also draw the winners from those entries. If you win a prize:

 

  1. the Social Agencies will share your personal information with the Agency to arrange fulfilment and delivery of your prize; and

 

  1. the Agency will make your name and county available, as a winner, to people requesting that information in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and as required by the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing. If you do not want your name to be made available, please inform the Agency using the contact details in paragraph 8 of this Privacy Policy. Note that, if requested to do so, the Agency may still share winners’ details with the Advertising Standards Authority;

 

  1. The Terms and Conditions are the legal basis for the processing of personal data in connection with this promotion. If you are do not provide your personal data, your entry cannot be processed, you will not be notified if you have won a prize, nor will it be possible to award a prize to you.

 

  1. Your personal data will not be disclosed or shared with any third party other than those who are engaged to administer the promotion and to fulfil and deliver the prize(s), or third parties who request details of the winners of this promotion as described at paragraph 2(a) above.

 

  1. Your personal data may be sent to countries outside of the UK in order to conduct aspects of the promotion (e.g. where fulfilment of the prize happens in another country). Where this occurs, the party responsible will ensure that any transfer happens in accordance with applicable law.

 

  1. If you are unsuccessful in winning a prize, the Agency will delete your personal data promptly after the prizes have been awarded and distributed. If you are a winner, your personal data will not be processed for any longer than is required for the party processing your data to comply with the law or to fulfil its obligations to you and other third parties. Terms and Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions apply to the " Win £500 with Carlsberg” promotion.  Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as you will be legally bound by them from the time that you enter.

 

If there is a conflict in these Terms and Conditions with any other terms whatsoever attached to any other advertising material in respect of this Promotion, these conditions will take precedence.

 

Eligibility

 

  1. This promotion is open to all persons aged 18 or over and resident in England & Wales, other than employees, and their immediate families, of the Promoter, its associated companies and anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

 

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.

 

How to Enter

 

  1. You will require internet access and an Instagram account set to public (to allow the Promoter to view your entry and permit direct messages from the Promoter) to enter the promotion. A purchase is necessary to enter this promotion.

 

  1. The promotion will start at 00:00 on 22 May 2025 and will end at 23:59 on 25 August 2025 (Closing Date). All entries must be received by the Closing Date. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received by the Closing Date for any reason.

 

  1. To enter this promotion you must, prior to the Closing Date:

 

    1. purchase a draught pint or half pint of Carlsberg Danish Pilsner in a Carlsberg-branded glass from a licensed on-trade premises in England or Wales; and

 

    1. share a photograph of your poured pint or half pint to your Instagram stories or Instagram feed post, tagging @carlsberguk.

 

  1. Any instructions provided at the point of entry form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.

 

  1. Photographs posted by entrants for the purposes of entering this promotion must be their own original work and must not infringe any third party rights (including without limitation in copyright, trade marks, moral rights, rights of privacy or publicity or any other intellectual property rights). Photographs will be accepted as valid entries provided that they do not feature:

 

  • or tag Instagram users who are under the legal drinking age in that user’s country of residence;

 

  • images of anyone who is (or appears to be) under the age of 25;

 

(c)   third party brands or trademarks (particularly competitor brands);

 

  • rude or offensive words or connotations or abusive or defamatory, profane or otherwise offensive or inappropriate language;

 

(e)   the portrayal or suggestion of immoderate or irresponsible drinking;

 

(f)    daring or anti-social behaviour or sexually explicit / suggestive language or images;

 

(g)   anything which may breach or otherwise contravene the Terms of Use or Community Guidelines published by Instagram from time to time;

 

(h)   anything which may breach any legal or code requirement which the Promoter is required to comply with; or

 

  • anything which may damage the Promoter’s reputation.

 

  1. Comments or replies made by entrants in order to enter the promotion which, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter are deemed to contravene paragraph 7 will not qualify for entry into this promotion. The Promoter has sole discretion as to whether a comment contravenes paragraph 7 and whether entry to the promotion is accepted.

 

  1. Each photograph posted is equal to one entry.

 

  1. Entries are limited to a maximum of one per person in each Entry Period as defined at paragraph 14 (a maximum of three entries per person for the duration of this promotion), provided that each entry includes a unique photograph. Multiple entries submitted using the same photograph will not be accepted. Entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions will be invalid.

 

Prizes

 

  1. There are three prizes of £500 each available to be won in this promotion. No more than one prize may be won per person.

 

  1. The prize will be paid to the winner by electronic bank transfer using the bank account details provided to the Agency by the winner when claiming their prize as described below. Payment will be made within 14 days of the winner successfully claiming their prize. Prizes are strictly non-transferable.

 

  1. The winner is responsible for payment of tax (if any) on their prize. The winner is encouraged to seek independent tax advice if unsure of their tax status and liability.

 

Winner Selection, Notification and Claiming

 

  1. The winners of this promotion will be drawn at random using a computer process that produces verifiably random results on the following dates from all valid entries received during the following periods (each an Entry Period):

 

    1. the first winner will be drawn on Monday 23 June 2025 from all valid entries received during the Entry Period between 00:00 on 22 May 2025 and 23:59 on 19 June 2025;

 

    1. the second winner will be drawn on Tuesday 22 July 2025 from all valid entries received during the Entry Period between 00:00 on 20 June 2025 and 23:59 on 18 July 2025; and

 

    1. the third winner will be drawn on Thursday 28 August 2025 from all valid entries received during the Entry Period between 00:00 on 19 July 2025 and 23:59 on 25 August 2025.

 

  1. Winners will be notified they have won by the Agency within three days of each draw date by direct message to the social media account from which the winning entry was received. Non-winning entrants will not be notified.

 

  1. To claim their prize, winners must within one week of being notified they have won:

 

    1. provide the Agency with a copy of photographic identification (such as a passport or driver’s license) by email to the address provided by the Agency which confirms that the winner is aged 18 years or older; and

 

    1. confirm to the Agency the bank details to which the prize should be paid. Please note that prizes will be paid only to a bank account in the winner’s name matching the name stated on the identification provided by the winner.

 

  1. The prize may be forfeited and a replacement winner drawn at the Promoter’s sole discretion in the following events:

 

    1. the prize is declined, or a winner cannot take up their prize;

 

    1. a winner is disqualified under the Terms and Conditions of this promotion;

 

    1. a winner fails to claim their prize as required by paragraph 16 above; or

 

    1. delivery of the prize is refused or cannot be completed using reasonable attempts.

 

  1. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any inability of a winner to take up a prize.

 

General

 

  1. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram and by entering this promotion you hereby release Instagram from any liability in respect of this promotion.

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner (or any guest of the winner) or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prizeexcept where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for (a) any entries or winner notifications which are not received due to the use of incorrect or inaccurate entry information, any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions, or for any other reason; (b) any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of the promotion; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers used in any aspect of the operation of the promotion; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet and/or any website; or (e) any injury or damage to any person’s computer(s) or mobile device(s) which may be related to or result from any attempt to participate in the promotion or to download any materials in connection with the promotion.

The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion and / or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without giving prior notice and, by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended terms.

The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify entries deemed to be non-compliant with these Terms and Conditions or if it has any reason to believe that efforts have been made to distort the competitive process or spirit of the promotion. This includes any individual found to be attempting to circumvent this clause by tampering with the operation of the promotion, setting up multiple accounts or using multiple identities. No bulk, consumer group or third party entries will be accepted. The Promoter’s decision as to any aspect of this promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

 

  1. By entering this promotion, each entrant warrants that all information submitted about them is true, current and complete.

 

  1. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

 

  1. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
